Just a teenager, Gideon* was serving in a special combat unit in the military in Israel.
“I was the only Believer on the whole base,” Gideon says. He felt isolated. It was hard to face life and death situations and decisions and be the only Jewish Believer.
“For me, it was pretty difficult to sustain it, to continue my relationship with God,” Gideon says.
Thankfully, Gideon found the support and encouragement he needed. One of Jewish Voice’s partner organizations in Israel ministers specifically to young Jewish Believers.
“I’m so thankful to God to have that support during that time, in my military service,” he says.
