
Damascus, Syria— a mere 133 miles north of Tel Aviv—is about to play host to a major forward base for the Russian air force.

September 2015 is brimming over with events of biblical significance. The “blood moons” of the last 18 months have captured the attention of the world because they fall on Jewish feast days two years in a row. The last blood moon of this series will occur in September on Sukkot.

Sobering, yet exciting. That’s how I would describe the days in which we’re living. Sobering, because the world is an increasingly volatile and dangerous place.

There is no doubt that the confession of the Word of God in any language will release power and blessing, but if we want to experience the greatest impact, the greatest depth, we must go back to the roots, and those roots are in Hebrew.

The Jewish People known as the Bete Israel in Tach Gayint live as outcasts in their own country. It doesn’t matter that they were born right there – their ancestors came from outside Ethiopia.
