The first Sunday of every October is the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. The Bible calls us to pray for Israel, and in Psalm 122, it specifically talks about praying for Jerusalem.Â
God is our safe room. He is our shelter when life’s rockets hurtle our way.Â
Sometimes, we don’t like the truth. But as worshippers of the one true God, who is “the way, the truth and the life” (John 14:6), the truth is a vital part of dwelling with God.
One of the things we are celebrating during the Feast of Sukkot is God dwelling with us.Â
