Messianic Judaism is the name given to New Testament faith in Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah by those who are of Jewish heritage. Perhaps in the past you’ve heard it called Jewish Christianity.
They have ancient traditions handed down orally from generation to generation, honoring the Patriarchs Abram, Moriah (a reference to Isaac and Mount Moriah, where Abram was called to sacrifice his son), and Jacob.
July 2015-- When the Arab nations invaded Israel in 1948, they instructed Palestinians living in the newly created Jewish state to flee their homes to neighboring countries. Most expected Israel to be quickly defeated. “You’ll be home in a week,” many were told.
On March 3, 2015, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a rare joint session of the U.S. Congress. He sounded a solemn warning that day about the intentions of Iran that has, sadly, gone largely unheeded.
Israel declared its independence on May 14, 1948. That same night, the combined armies of Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon, along with troops from Saudi Arabia and Yemen, invaded Israel.
The view was spectacular. Reminiscent of the Grand Canyon, the spacious expanse of Tach Gayint, Ethiopia spread out in front of us. We were 8,500 feet above sea level, and it was breathtaking in every way. Yet in the midst of this incredible beauty were broken hearts and desperate souls.
